Who we are

We are LGN Gospel Lighthouse Maranding, a Christian church family located in Maranding, Lanao del Norte, committed to loving God and loving people through the saving power of Jesus Christ.
We are followers of Christ who believe in the authority of the Bible, the necessity of repentance and faith, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our church is a place where people from all walks of life can find healing, deliverance, and a fresh encounter with God’s grace.
We are part of a movement that seeks to be a spiritual “lighthouse” in our community — a place of hope, truth, and light in the darkness, pointing everyone to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Our Core Identity
A Church Under Christ 
Jesus Christ is the head of our church; all we do is rooted in His Word and His Great Commission.
A Discipleship Community 
We are committed to making disciples who grow in faith, serve in ministries, and share the gospel boldly.
A Fellowship of Mercy and Truth 
We seek to live holy lives while showing compassion, justice, and grace to our neighbors and those in need.
A Community in Maranding 
We are deeply rooted in Maranding, called to serve our city, schools, families, and the marginalized with the love of Christ.

What we hope to do

Our vision is to see lives transformed by the gospel and to be a spiritual lighthouse that shines brightly in Maranding and beyond.
1. Bring People to Christ
We long for every person — young and old, believer and seeker — to encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ and find new life in Him. Through preaching, worship, and personal outreach, we aim to share the Good News clearly and powerfully.
2. Grow Believers in Faith
We want to equip every member to grow in maturity, character, and service through Bible study, teaching, discipleship, and small groups. We believe every believer has a role in the body of Christ and is called to be fruitful in ministry.
3. Serve Our Community
We are called not only to preach the gospel but also to live it out in practical love. We hope to address real needs in Maranding — through compassion ministries, youth and children’s programs, prayer, and outreach — showing that the gospel brings both eternal salvation and practical hope.​
4. Strengthen Local and Global Witness
Locally, we want to see strong, healthy churches and strengthened families in our area. Globally, we pray for opportunities to support missions, evangelism, and church planting, obeying the Lord’s command to make disciples of all nations.
5. Be a Light in Our Generation
We desire to be a church that is faithful, bold, and relevant — a generation that stands firm in truth, stands strong in holiness, and stands ready to share Christ in every situation. We believe God is doing great things in Maranding, and we want to be part of His bigger story.
